The Seawalker Australia Affiliate Program includes
a range of options to help establish a Seawalker attraction. Training,
marketing support and assistance with insurance requirements are
part of the Seawalker Australia Affiliate Program. Under Seawalker
Australia's environmental partnership with the Australian Marinelife
Institute, the Institute can assist with environmental impact assessments,
development of environmental operational guidelines and production
of interpretative programs.
Training
Seawalker Australia's Green Island facility has been
established as the company's principal training centre. Programs
will be offered for individual Seawalker crew members and new affiliates
in the areas of surface support, underwater guide, administration
and marketing, customer service and equipment servicing. Seawalker
Australia aims to become a key provider of marine tourism education
products, offering practical courses in co-operation with its Seawalker
operations.
Environment Programs
Since its inception, Seawalker Australia has worked
with the Australian Marinelife Institute to support marine education
and research programs. Under an environmental partnership, both
organisations co-operate in developing interpretative programs for
Seawalker clients, the introduction of children's marine education
programs, and a range of research activities to support the Seawalker
facilities.
