2012 Chinese New Year
Seawalker Green Island, Cairns & Great Barrier Reef has reached a new record for happy customers per day in the Chinese New Year, the year of the Dragon 2012.The highest number recorded in one day was 217 pax.

Grease Walkers 2010
The dance competition organised as a part of Tourism Tropical North Queensland Tourism Awards 2010 night was themed "So You Think You Can GREASE It! Seawalker@Green Island participated with a grotesque movie filmed at location on Green Island. All the crew had great fun whilst making the movie. Greasewalkers' outstanding underwater moves, together with Ranger Roy's chasing off The Litter Bugs and a group choreography on the top of the Sea Spy, are the contributing factors to the Seawalker's efforts being awarded the great second place in this year's competition. 100 000 Customers and going stronger
In September 2010 - SEAWALKER@Green Island reached 100 000 customers.
The one to be commemorated as the 100,000th customer was the lucky Japanese Mr. Okamura Hiroshi (bottom left), photographed here with some of the Seawalker crew. Congratulations.
Miss China Cosmos Pageant 2010
Also in September 2010 - Seawalker@Green Island used an opportunity to introduce the SEAWALKER Experience to 12 beautiful young ladies from China participating in the "Miss China Cosmos Pageant" competition. 2010 Finalist Adventure Tourism Award for SEAWALKER
In October 2010 Seawalker@Green Island received the 2010 Finalist Adventure Tourism Award by Tropical Tourism North Queensland. This category was open to operators providing adventure tourism experiences that involve active customer participation, e.g. rafting, ballooning, bushwalking, scuba diving, rock climbing, four-wheel driving, fishing, horse riding and abseiling.

SW became a 2010 Finalist in Queensland Tourism Awards in category Tourist Attractions open to attractions of state/territory importance which, a) market primarily to intrastate and/or interstate visitors and/or b) significantly contribute to the tourism experience within their metropolitan or country region. Attractions may be developed in conjunction with a natural attraction or on their own.

Adam Rykes and Hamish Cross are the lead cows in a promotion put together by World Nomads and Backpacking Queensland. They hope to replicate the hype generated by Queensland Tourism’s highly successful Best Job in the World Campaign. The guys are traveling from Cairns to Brisbane checking out the sites and adventures. Whilst in Cairns they were lucky enough to try the fantastic Seawalker experience out on beautiful Green Island Australia, Great Barrier Reef. Read More...
